June Noronha

June Noronha is a Senior Manager with the Native Nations Team at the Bush Foundation, Minnesota where she works on nation building and government reform in Indian country..  June also served as the Strategic Officer at the Bush Foundation, where she helped design a new strategic direction for the Foundation.  Before joining the Foundation June held senior leadership positions in higher education in the field of international and multicultural education, and executive positions in local government and education sectors. Her expertise is in strategic thinking, public sector redesign, indigenous rights and educational equity, and has consulted widely on development issues, immigration and international exchange management.

An active member in the community, June presently is Chair of the Board of Trustees of World Education Services (US and Canada) and Board Vice Chair at the Minnesota Council on Foundations.  June has done undergraduate work at Macalester College, USA, and Universite d’Aix in Avignon, France.  Her graduate work was at the University of Minnesota, and the McGregor School at Antioch University, USA.
