Ryan Yamamoto (Chair)

Ryan is currently responsible for several grant making portfolios that focus on the infrastructure of safety net organizations such as community health centers and public hospitals, the optimization of health information technology, access to healthcare coverage and homelessness. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Ryan served as program staff at The California Endowment, one of the state's largest private health foundations. Ryan also brings with him extensive experience in both the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors requiring skills in cross-sector collaboration, public affairs and leadership. Ryan served as a key leader for AAPIP-Los Angeles for over six years as a member of the Steering Committee and as Co-Chair prior to joining AAPIP National.  He received a Bachelor of Science, Health Science at California State University, Long Beach.
