Alex Wong joined AAPIP in 2012. As AAPIP's Community Philanthropy Manager, he has the pleasure of working with all of AAPIP’s partners and philanthropists in the National Giving Circle Network across the country. In addition to fostering the growth of the community philanthropy through partnerships, he is also an avid and active member of several giving circles.
Alex received his BA from New York University in Economics and Politics, holds a JD from UC Hastings College of the Law, and is currently pursuing his MBA at Haas School of Business. His legal experience includes serving as judicial extern to federal magistrate and district judges, litigation attorney, and in-house counsel to a digital advertising agency. Prior to law school, he worked as a legal advocate for Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles and Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco. He is a member of the State Bar of California and District of Columbia Bar and a recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services.
Alex, in his own words: If you had a super power, what would it be? Telekinesis, so I can accomplish many things that I cannot otherwise accomplish, including but not limited to grabbing the remote when it is out of reach and influencing the outcomes of various state lotteries at will.
