Talk Story: Discover the Stories Within
Join this evening AAPIP workshop among peers and colleagues to explore stories of resilience, resistance, and transformation. Find what fuels your inspiration and direct that energy in service to people, places and communities. Richard Woo and Mei Yook Woo, a father and daughter team, will share storytelling principles, skills, and practices they have learned from working in community-building and philanthropy. Mei Yook is a food justice advocate in Seattle and Richard is a longtime foundation executive in the Puget Sound community.
The workshop is limited to 12 participants, not including Mei Yook and Richard. Be prepared to work in small groups with facilitated storytelling practice, feedback, and encouragement. Workshop begins promptly at 5:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm.
AAPIP will provide a catered meal and refreshments.
