Aspen Leadership Group (ALG) is pleased to announce an opening for an Associate, Research and Operations. The selected candidate will be someone who is prepared to conduct research for executive search and business development purposes and who can analyze, interpret, and act on the information collected.
We are seeking a talented, driven individual who is skilled at translating, integrating, and curating information into focused, relevant, and useful forms. The Associate’s goal is help gather data through research, and then leverage that data to draw conclusions and deliver information that will support our business development and executive search teams. Experience with the organization, preservation, integration, improvement, and use of data in multiple forms will be key, and searching continuously for higher-level relationships and patterns in our data will be vital.
The Associate, Research and Operations will bring their full expertise to each engagement, leading to more robust connections with clients and candidates. Given our relationships with and impact on a diverse array of nonprofit organizations and institutions, ALG provides team members a national platform for influence and impact on fundraising talent in the world of philanthropy and the nonprofit sector as a whole.
ALG is a national network of fundraising leaders. Through executive search and talent management consulting services, and with a focus on careers rather than on isolated job openings, ALG builds enduring and productive relationships with individuals pursuing careers in philanthropy and with leaders of organizations engaged in philanthropy. ALG’s team represents all sectors, from higher education to the arts, from large and complex institutions to small community-based nonprofits.
We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply, as Aspen Leadership Group believes that an organization’s capacity to reflect and respond to the rich diversity of our society profoundly impacts its ability to fulfill its mission. Accordingly, ALG is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion, both in our own company and in partnership with our clients and the individuals we serve.
All applications must be accompanied by a cover letter and résumé, and cover letters should be responsive to the responsibilities and preferred qualifications of the position. 1-2 years of related experience required, with experience in advancement/philanthropy a plus.
