Angela Y. Hom

Angela Y. Hom (she/her/hers) is the Administrative Manager at AAPIP where she handles memberships and related work to partnership. She comes to AAPIP with more than 25 years of experience of working in records management and research support. She has honed her skills in expert database management and support services most recently for 14 years at the University of California Office of the President (UCOP). Before then, she worked in corporate business libraries and special library settings. 

 At UCOP, Angela held leadership positions with staff affinity groups such as the Asian Pacific Islander Staff Association, Office of the President Staff Assembly and Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) advisory committees. Deeply committed to supporting the community with volunteer work that spans she has won a number of awards including, Innovation & Impact Team Award for OP Culture & Principles (2014) from the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women. Angela also relishes travel both near and far and her dream is to ride every funicular around the world and her involvement with three book clubs is a testament to her love of books. 

 Angela holds a B.A. in History from Scripps College, Claremont.
