Bry joins AAPIP as our Communications Intern. Bry is a journalist, poet, and traveler hoping to inform and inspire readers towards social justice awareness, creativity, and exploration of the previously unknown. Bry’s writing has covered any number of topics from self-love to social uprising, and has previously put a particular emphasis on grassroots organizing and politics. As a Filipina-American and lesbian writer, Bry hopes her work uplifts and amplifies stories that may otherwise be overlooked, and voices that may otherwise be erased. When not conducting an interview or following a lead, Bry is also a full time student, activist, and artist, and can be found at museums and coffee shops throughout Manhattan. Bry’s favorite things in life are winter, the color blue, and dim sum.
