Our programs are created to increase philanthropic resources to meet community needs. AAPIP partners with community and philanthropic institutions to explore, test, and share lessons learned about grantmaking and capacity building.
We consider our programs incubations because they present an opportunity to 1) seed resources to key organizations and leaders, and 2) inform philanthropy about changing demographics and emerging community needs. AAPIP leverages community assets and philanthropic resources to respond to the most underrecognized issues and underserved segments of the population where there are often no existing efforts. Our goal is to learn, practice, and then reflect with our partners about how to sustain the most promising practices.
