Two Funding Opportunities for AANHPI Organizations

The Sisters of St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation is accepting applications for grants supporting AANHPI community-based organizations that address housing insecurity, food insecurity, and family violence prevention in immigrant populations.

This event gives you direct access to the foundation’s leadership to ask questions, clarify eligibility, and understand how to apply.

The Funding Opportunities

General Operating Support Grant

  • Award amount: Up to $50,000
  • Application window: January 15 – February 15, 2026
  • Award date: July 1, 2026
  • Eligibility: Organizations addressing housing security, food security, and/or family violence prevention with a focus on families with children who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness
  • Priority: Smaller organizations with budgets under $5 million

Emergency Response to Immigration Policy Grant

  • Award amount: Up to $200,000 per county
  • Application process: By invitation only, rolling basis
  • Focus: Emergency needs such as food security and housing for immigrant families with children impacted by federal immigration policy
  • Goal: Create sustainable systems that give families time to develop longer-term plans after income loss

Both grants serve organizations primarily providing services in one or more of these California counties: Alameda, Humboldt, Imperial, Orange, San Bernardino, and Sonoma.

What to expect

  • Ask questions directly to the foundation’s Executive Director during the application window
  • Clarify eligibility for your specific organization and service area
  • Understand application criteria before you invest time preparing materials
  • Connect with other AANHPI organizations working in similar areas
  • Learn about the foundation’s priorities and what makes a strong application

Many qualified organizations don’t apply because they assume they won’t be competitive. This session helps you assess fit accurately before the February 15 deadline.
