Over the last 30 years, AAPIP has partnered with community and philanthropic institutions to explore, test, and share lessons learned about grantmaking and capacity building. These historic programs were considered incubations because they presented an opportunity to seed resources to key organizations and leaders, and inform philanthropy about changing demographics and emerging community needs. These innovative efforts leveraged community assets and philanthropic resources to respond to the most under-recognized issues and underserved segments of the population where there is often little or no infrastructure. AAPIP is proud to showcase these incubations and actively building from these partnerships and lessons learned.
