AAPIP is looking forward to our next AAPIP 2010 next week in Washington DC at the Art of Gaman exhibit.  Delphine Hirasuna, the author and guest curator of the Art of Gaman, will be present for a book signing and to lead a private tour of the artifacts for our guests.

Watch Delphine in this short excerpt video to learn more about the exhibit:

The Washington Post has described the Art of Gaman as “… [giving] texture to the improvised social life and bleak architecture of places such as Manzanar, Minidoka and Rohwer” and “an explosion of the aesthetic impulse”.
