Casey Tran

Casey Tran (she/her) is a second-generation Chinese American, born to refugee parents who fled Vietnam during the war. She has dedicated her career to mobilizing resources and people towards movements for justice. Casey joins AAPIP with several years of experience in fundraising and donor organizing, having worked at Chinese Progressive Association and Asian Law Caucus. Most recently, she was a Multicultural Fellow at the San Francisco Foundation where she focused on learning and evaluation. She conducted an internal evaluation of the foundation’s Koshland Young Leaders Award, a $10,000 scholarship designed to support high school juniors in pursuing higher education.

Casey holds a Master of Public Administration from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley. She lives in the Bay Area, CA with her partner and collection of Pusheen plushies.
