Grace Lee Boggs, a Chinese American civil rights and labor activist, known for fiercely supporting the Black Power movement, feminism, and the environment, is often remembered for asking this question: “What time is it on the clock of the world, and what are you doing to make a difference for good?”
Gather in loving community, facilitated by author, activist, and healer, Kevin Kahakula’akea John Fong, and engage in dialogue about how we weather turbulent and unprecedented times for our communities.

About Kevin Kahakula’akea John Fong:
Kevin Kahakula’akea John Fong (he/they/o ia) is an internationally recognized cultural translator, facilitator, and speaker in transformative justice, leadership development, and building beloved communities. Kevin is the Founder of the Kahakulei Institute, whose mission is to weave people and possibilities to cultivate communities of belonging.
Prior to developing his practice in 1996, Kevin founded and directed the Clinical HIV Program and Teen Clinic at Asian Health Services in Oakland, CA. In recent years, Kevin has been called to facilitate community healing circles around the country.
Kevin is a featured host on the CNBC News series, Changing the Narrative, and the author of, “The Five Elements: An East Asian Approach to Achieve Organizational Health, Professional Growth, and Personal Well-Being.”
A graduate of the University of California, Kevin resides on the traditional land of the Ohlone People, now known as the Mission District, San Francisco.
