Jill Beharry

Jill (she/her/hers) is the Director of Finance and Administration at AAPIP. She brings years of finance and administration experience from a wide range of nonprofit organizations as a staff member and consultant, including education, racial justice, advocacy, fine arts, music, social lending and healthcare. Her work at small organizations from startup to steady state has allowed her to cultivate a variety of safe and progressive financial and administrative policies that center people and the communities served. She loves detailed spreadsheets, clear manuals and figuring out how to remove obstacles for the team.

She graduated from Florida International University and Columbia University with degrees in Communications and International Education Development. She lives in New York with her partner and enjoys reading, yoga and being outdoors. Jill was born and raised in the Caribbean, to Chinese and Indian parents.
