Join AAPIP in Chicago as we honor 35 years of seeding and cultivating long-term partnerships between Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities and institutional philanthropy!
Over the last three and a half decades, AAPIP has cultivated a robust network of AANHPI philanthropic professionals, co-conspirators, and allies who are committed to mobilizing more philanthropic resources to AANHPI communities, strengthening relationships between community organizations and philanthropy, and working in solidarity to advance racial justice.
At a time when there are more AANHPI philanthropic professionals than ever before, yet philanthropic funding to AANHPI communities has remained stagnant, AAPIP invites philanthropy to reflect on and deepen their racial equity and racial justice strategies and practices. AANHPI communities are incredibly diverse and face a myriad of social and economic issues that remain unaddressed (and, in some cases, are rendered invisible).
AAPIP is proud and humbled to have developed innovative grantmaking models, incubations, and campaigns, in deep solidarity with fellow identity-based philanthropic affinity organizations, to advance social and racial justice.
AAPIP’s Anniversary Conference will offer space for participants to:
- deepen their understanding of AANHPI community priorities and assets;
- share impactful funding strategies aimed at increasing the scale and scope of philanthropic resources benefiting AANHPI communities; and
- connect with one another to build community across AAPIP’s national network.

What is AAPIP’s COVID-19 protocols?
Acknowledging COVID-19 is still with us four+ years after the World Health Organization declared a pandemic, leading to heightened vulnerability for members of our community with disabilities and/or chronic illness, we strongly encourage participants, speakers, and vendors to take a rapid COVID-19 test prior to traveling or attending our programming. We will have tests and masks available at our registration table for those who request them.
