Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) expands and mobilizes resources for AAPI communities to build a more just and equitable society.
For every $100 awarded by foundations, only 20 cents is designated to Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.
Philanthropic support for AANHPI communities needs to dramatically increase to meet the current and growing needs of over 30 million AANHPI people.

AAPIP's Call for Solidarity and Collective Action in Philanthropy
AAPIP organized a group of Asian American philanthropic leaders and issued a call for solidarity and collective action in philanthropy. Over 500 institutions and individuals signed on, making a commitment to work in multi-racial coalitions to combat systemic racism, reject the model minority stereotype and recognizing the vast diversity within AAPI communities, and expanding philanthropic support for AAPI communities and all communities of color.
