What a remarkable year it has been, filled with organizational milestones and incredible programming with our partners, members, and broader network. Together, we were able to work on issues of great importance for the diverse AAPI community. From grassroots voter mobilization, the impacts of mass incarceration, and the role of philanthropy in growing opportunities for all communities, it’s both a sobering and exciting time for change. We absolutely could not have accomplished so much without the support of our long-time institutional partners who truly stepped up their support at a pivotal junction for the organization.
Special thanks goes to the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation for helping us to leverage our 25th anniversary with a 50% challenge grant to raise $1 million. Again with the support of our institutional members and scores of individual donors, we not only exceeded our goal, but did so ahead of schedule. We are proud to partner with the Coulter Foundation, who is committed to improving the health and well being of AAPIs through civic engagement and philanthropy.
