Twin Cities AAPI Communities: Celebrating Impact, Building What’s Next

The AAPIP Twin Cities Rapid Response Fund launched in February 2026 in response to large-scale federal immigration enforcement operations in the Twin Cities. Over the following months, the fund moved resources directly to 19 AAPI-led community organizations. Grantmaking closed on June 30, 2026.

This is an event to convene and celebrate grantee partners, funders, and donors who supported the AAPIP Twin Cities Rapid Response Fund.

Logistics

• Travel: For grantees, we’ll cover your local parking fees. For funders and donors, please make your own arrangements. If travel cost is a barrier to your participation, indicate this on the RSVP form. We want to remove obstacles where we can.
• Lodging for out-of-town guests: We do not have a room block but would recommend staying close to the venue or close to the MSP airport.
• Registration Deadline: Registration will close when we reach capacity or on September 15, 2026, whichever comes first.

Who Will Be There

Grantee partners from the Rapid Response Fund, donors, funder partners, AAPIP members from the Twin Cities region and across the country, and fellow AANHPI staff and trustees. This is a closed space meant for AAPIP members and community allies.

Sponsorship and Registration

All grantees and AAPIP members have free access to the event. While we are not requiring a registration fee for this convening, AAPIP members from out of town are expected to cover their own travel/lodging expenses. AAPIP would deeply appreciate donations or other financial support to help offset our costs as well as travel needs for AAPIP staff and others who otherwise could not attend.
